Tamara started up Harrogate salsa on Facebook in 2012. Starting as a page for people to go to to find information on any Harrogate classes. Tamara was involved in the longest running classes held by Latin nights Harrogate. Tamara has now spread her wings and is now teaching her own classes and putting on events. 

Mexican born Tamara found her passion from her Latin American roots, and learned to dance as soon as she was able to walk. Helped by a Canadian Ballroom couple, who taught many people to dance.  A few have made it to Hollywood. From a young age she was performing in shows here in the UK. She found Salsa later on and learned her craft from top teachers up and down the UK, on salsa holidays and weekend Congresses. 

Tamara has been dancing all her life but been dancing Salsa for 13+ years. She been teaching for 2+ years. She enjoys teaching the passion of the dance, technique and helping each student find their own style. Tamara Teaches both Salsa and Bachata but can dance many styles within the Latino dances. 

Here at Harrogate salsa we work with other teachers and dance company's and can bring in more advanced level teachers to our classes if enough demand. 

We are now offering ZOOM classes for any students, join our weekly zoom class or have a private class. contact us for all the info.
